Analisis Hubungan Antara Umur Dengan Nilai Akhir Matematika Siswa di Sekolah Gabriel Pereira Portugal dengan Metode Regresi Linear Sederhana

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the relationship between student age and final math grades at Gabriel Pereira School in Portugal using the simple linear regression method. This study was conducted by involving 100 students from various classes who had taken the end-of-semester mathematics exam. The data obtained included the age of the students and their final math grades. The simple linear regression method was used to identify whether there is a significant relationship between the age variable and students' final math grades. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the age of the students and their final math scores, meaning that the older the student, the higher the score. The findings provide further understanding of the factors that influence academic achievement, particularly in mathematics, and provide insights for schools in designing more effective learning programs. Or with this research, it is hoped that this research can be used as a reference in the future.
